Natalie and Michael wedding film story || Sunset Monalisa || Carlos Plazola Wedding Cinematographer

4K Wedding Films , September 6, 2018

Natalie and Michael’s Los Cabos destination wedding is one we have
been eagerly waiting to showcase! From the get go, it was obvious that
this celebration would be anything but typical. In a style very much
their own, Natalie and Michael managed to pay respectful attention to
the romantic and traditional aspects of wedding etiquette, while
ensuring their guests left town feeling more like they had just flown
through a fun-fuelled weekend in Vegas.

Natalie and her “I Do Crew” got wedding-ready at the gorgeous Secrets
Los Cabos, sipping cocktails as Cabo’s talented Alma Vallejo and her
team of savvy stylists ensured their hair and makeup was on point.
Wedding ready and looking both relaxed and ecstatic, Natalie allowed
us the privilege of capturing her first look with her handsome groom,
and Michael’s genuine smile showed just how much love he has for his
bride.

As go time approached, we packed up our gear and headed south to Cabo
San Lucas, where bride and groom had chosen the breathtaking Sunset
MonaLisa restaurant, set high above the crashing waves and iconic rock
formations of Misiones Beach, as the perfect location in which to
exchange vows in front of family and friends. In a ceremony full of
love and laughter, Natalie promised to “make sure I’m not just yelling
at you because I’m hungry”, and Michael vowed to “do his best to try
and clean up after himself”. After a long awaited first kiss, guests
were left with no doubt that this would be a night to remember.

Dinner took place in Sunset MonaLisa’s famous palapa, with elegant
floral touches by Emporio Arte Floral adorning the tastefully
decorated tables. Guests didn’t need to be asked twice before hitting
the dance floor, and DJ Alex Alanis intricate lighting
effects and never ending playlist of the couple’s favorite tracks made
sure they stayed there all night. Bottles popping, shots flowing,
oversized sunglasses and funky sombreros – if it wasn’t for Natalie’s
stunning, lace-embellished mermaid gown any onlooker would be forgiven
for thinking they had stumbled upon the New Year’s party of the
decade!

A special thanks to all of the wonderful vendors involved – especially
wedding planner extraordinaire Christina Gilliland from Cabo Beach Weddings, who always makes
our job a pleasure. From the team at Carlos Plazola Wedding Photographer and Cinematographer, we wish Natalie
and Michael a life full of love and happiness. Thank you both for
sharing your stylish, fun-loving selves with us all!
